Due to inclement weather, first round play for the Truist Championship was suspended for the day at 7:10 p.m.

All spectators should exit the premises for their safety. All venues, grandstands and concession stands are closed. Please note that temporary structures are not intended to provide safe shelter in the case of threatening weather such as lightning and severe winds.

First-round play will resume at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 8. Round 2 is expected to begin as scheduled between 11 a.m. to 1:01 p.m. ET, with players competing in groups of three off Nos. 1 and 10.

All entry gates are currently scheduled to open at 8:00 a.m. for ticketed spectators and hospitality venues will open at 10:00 a.m.

Media parking will once again be relocated from Quail Hollow Presbyterian (Media Lot) to Forest Hill Church (Gold Lot) located at 7224 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210. Shuttles will begin running at 5 a.m. ET.

Fans should note that conditions on the property may be wet. All fans should dress accordingly and be mindful of areas where water has accumulated, as well as mounding and hills, which might be slippery.
