Rory McIlroy Commits to Return to Quail Hollow for the 2026 Truist Championship
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – Tournament officials announced today that World No. 2 and four-time Truist Championship winner Rory McIlroy is set to make a highly anticipated return to Quail Hollow Club for the 2026 Truist Championship.
One of the most accomplished players in the history of the event, McIlroy captured the 2024 Truist Championship in record-setting fashion, earning his fourth victory at Quail Hollow (2010, 2015, 2021, 2024). The 2024 triumph also marked the second time McIlroy claimed the title on Mother’s Day, having previously done so in 2021—further cementing his special connection to the famed venue.
